The more details you provide, the faster and more accurate your quote will be. Typically, we can provide a quote along with an estimated completion time within 3 business days. While most projects are booked several months in advance, we may occasionally accommodate rush orders (subject to an additional fee)—just submit your request, and we’ll do our best to meet your timeline!

For the consultation process, please come prepared with the following:

1. Concept or Color Scheme: Bring a proof-of-concept model or have a clear idea of your desired color scheme, faction, or theme.

2. Timeline: Know your expected timeline. When would you like your project to be "table-ready"?

3. Project Details: Have a list of the models/units you need work on, and the quality level you're aiming for (tabletop, display, etc.).

4. Model Condition: Will you be sending fully assembled models, sub-assemblies, or do you need us to build them? (Note: we are not responsible for missing or lost pieces once models are received).

   • If we need to purchase models or materials for you, the full cost of those materials must be included in your upfront deposit.

Once all details are confirmed, a 50% deposit is required to start your project. After receiving the deposit, we will order any necessary materials from mutually agreed upon vendors, which usually takes 1-2 weeks. The overall turnaround time depends on the project's size and complexity, but our goal is to complete most projects within 3-6 months of the initial deposit.

Assembly
Our assembly services include cutting, cleaning, and advanced preparation like gap filling and barrel drilling as needed. For custom conversions, contact us for a personalized quote—we handle everything from simple head swaps to fully custom models using parts from multiple kits.

Model assembly instructions must be provided or readily available.
If a custom assembly is desired, it will be completed at Paint-N-Plays discretion.
It must be capable of happening without causing irreparable damage to the model.
Unless you intend to model battle damage which will be negotiated for a fee.
Once modifications have been made, it cannot/will not be retracted.
Accidental Damage: Accidents happen. In the event an accident occurs you will be notified at first availability. Necessary steps and corrective actions will be taken to make things right.
It is at Paint-N-Play’s discretion what those steps and actions are.

Magnetization/Pinning
Want to keep your army adaptable for an ever-changing meta or just like having versatile options? We offer magnetization services, allowing you to swap out weapons and load outs on the fly, ensuring your army is ready for any opponent or battle scenario. Small magnets are typically used for infantry, medium for tanks and walkers, and large magnets for titans or other resin models. Please note that magnetization pricing doesn't include additional painting for extra parts—this is calculated on a case-by-case basis. Magnetization costs are based on the size and number of magnets used.

Pinning will also be available to help model stability at a clients discretion at the same cost.

Painting
We offer four painting standards: Quick Play, Look Good, Feel Good, and Double Take. Our gallery will be updated soon!

• Quick Play (Tournament): Ideal for tournament-ready models. This includes a minimum of three base colors, washes, and decals.

• Look Good (Table Top): Includes everything in Quick Play plus additional base colors and basic highlights.

• Feel Good (Table Top Plus): Incorporates all aspects of Quick Play and Feel Good, more edge highlighting, shading, and detailed elements like gems and lenses.

• Double Take (Master Class): For those who want the highest quality, Double Take includes everything from the previous levels, plus advanced techniques such as volumetric shading, object source lighting (OSL), and intricate edge and point highlighting. This standard is for display-level models. Due to the complexity, (Double Take) projects may require additional time.

Each painting project is tailored to your vision. Whether you want an ‘Eavy Metal style, Grimdark theme, or something entirely unique, we’ve got you covered. Freehand work is also available and charged on a case-by-case basis, ranging from names on tanks to full-scale artistic pieces. Basing
All painting standards include our Basic Basing at no extra charge. This includes up to two texture paints or flocking, rocks as needed, one type of tuft, and a base rim color. Basic is designed to compliment any painting standard. If you want something more elaborate, we can create any custom basing scheme you envision. Or include basing material you provide. We also offer custom-painted or resin bases—either provided by you or ordered by us. We also provide case-by-case quotes for truly unique ideas.

Customer Check In/Revisions
We will do a total of 5 check ins through the process. Please note that additional revisions may delay completion date of the project. Paint-N-Play will not be held liable for delays caused by revisions.

1. Models Received/Building Begins (Inform us of any additional revisions prior to assembly)

2. 25% of order is completed (Inform us of any additional revisions/request)

3. 50% of order is completed (Inform us of any additional revisions/request)

4. 75% of order is completed (Inform us of any additional revisions/request)

5. Final Review prior to shipping/delivery (Revisions may be completed at Paint-N-Plays discretion)

Cancellation policy

Life Happens.

I understand that circumstances may arise that one of the two of us may need to back out of the project.
In the event of cancellation, a fee may occur.

Cancellation Scenarios :

1. Cancellation before the project begins: If money and/or models haven’t been exchanged, no harm no foul. I’d love to revisit your dream/vision at a more convenient time!

2. Money/Models Exchanged and Project is less than 25%-49% completed: If I have purchased models/work has begun (Early Stage), I will keep 25%-49% of the deposit for the project, and a fee to return the models will be added (Cost of shipping or I bring them to you if you are local - paid prior to exchange)
   This will be based on model count and level of work completed.

3. Money/Models Exchanged and Project is greater than 50% or more completed: If I have purchased models/work has begun (Mid Stage), I will keep 50% or more of the deposit for the project, and a fee to return the models will be added (Cost of shipping or I bring them to you if you are local - paid prior to exchange)
   This will be based on model count and level of work completed.

4. Money/Models Exchanged and Project is near completion (75% or more completed): If I have purchased models/work has nearly completed (Late Stage), I will keep 75% or more of the deposit for the project, and a fee to return the models will be added (Cost of shipping or I bring them to you if you are local - paid prior to exchange).
   This will be based on model count and level of work completed.

5. Double Take/Master Class Models: Paint-N-Play retains the right to the full cost of Master Class model paint job regardless of level of completion. I get my money, you get your model at it’s current state. This will be separate from the fee kept from the deposit based on stages of completion.
   We take your dream seriously, please respect our level of effort to help achieve it.
